Silk Hats
This recycled silk sari yarn is hand spun in Nepal and India women's co-ops and act as income supplements to farming families in non-growing seasons. The silk yarn is spun from remnants of new silk. Not only are you getting an incredible, unique yarn product, you are helping create jobs for others.
I was inspired and encouraged by my brother Rick to make these hats. I made one for him while I was taking care of his needs during his battle with cancer. These hats are made in loving memory of my little brother Rick.
